 We had a great vacation this past summer in Orleans, MA spent with our family. Mark and I have always known one day we would be ready for a second property, we were just waiting for the right time and place. Both of our families are no strangers to the Cape so while we were on vacation, Mark and I linked up with a realtor in the area. Amanda and Jen of Whitaker Group (https://www.whitakergroupcc.com/blank-2) were fantastic to work with. We visited several homes during our trip and signed a three month agreement with Amanda and Jen to continue the search once we returned home. We were looking for a home that would need just a bit of love to become our second home. Our Marblehead home certainly prepared us well for another project! 31 Chase landed in our lap and after visiting the property, Mark knew this was the one that would build the best equity with the amount of work we would put in. So here we are! The tree removal has already taken place and the home is now visible from the street. We are going to make many updates to the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. This home will be taken from a two bedroom two bath to a three bedroom and three bath with a fantastic location. Chase Lane is a dead end street so traffic is not an issue for families. The bike trail is in our backyard (though there is plenty of privacy with trees) and Skaket Beach is just down the road and easily accessible.
